Privacy Notice
Last updated: November 4, 2026. Dearly ("we") provides digital invitation pages.
TEMPLATE for review: this notice is a starting draft and is not legal advice. Have an attorney review it, and fill in the bracketed items, before you launch.
What we collect
Hosts: the text and choices in the invitation they create, and a private access key (we store only a one-way hash of it). Guests: the name, attendance, number of guests, dietary needs and note they choose to enter in an RSVP. We do not ask guests to create accounts, and we do not use advertising trackers.
Email addresses
If a host asks us to email their links, we use the address once to send that message and do not store it. Our email provider (Resend) processes it to deliver the message.
Who sees what
RSVP details are visible to the host of that invitation, who is responsible for how they use them. Please do not enter sensitive personal or medical information in an RSVP.
How long we keep it
Invitations and replies are deleted automatically about 12 months after creation, plus a short safety period of up to 30 days.
Where it is stored
Data is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this service and may process it in the United States and other countries.
Children
This service is for adults organizing events. It is not directed to children under 13.
